Hotel Policy
The Ray Hotel Management will be very grateful for your cooperation in complying with these regulations, which are meant to ensure a quiet, safe and comfortable stay for all our guests.
- Ray Hotel provides accommodation to guests who have been duly registered at the reception before the beginning of their stay.
- During registration, the guest is obligated to produce a valid Identity card/passport and marriage certificate for all the couples staying at hotel. GCC National Identity card is accepted and for all GCC residence the passport with valid visa is mandatory.
- If upon check-in the guest does not specify the duration of his or her stay the hotel will presume it is for one night.
- Guest may cancel their reservation up to 48 hours prior to their scheduled arrival date without penalty, cancellation made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date will be subject to a charge equivalent to one night room rate.
- For the Nonrefundable reservations are no cancellation or changes possible, In case of a cancellation or no show, a full stay charges will be applicable.
- In case Guest doesn’t show up for check-in, first night or full stay charges will be applicable.
- A hotel day starts at 14:00 hrs on the day of arrival and ends at 12:00 hrs on the day of departure. Occupying rooms after 12:00 hrs, subject to half day charges while after 18:00 hrs will be full one (1) day charges applicable.
- Guest are obliged to pay for their whole stay at the time of check-in on the day of arrival, In case of Long Term the services are to be paid on the monthly basis.
- Guest wishing to do early check-in after 08:00 is subject to half day charges and after 12:00 is subject to availability to get complimentary.
- Guest wishing to extend their stay beyond the actual departure date, kindly requested to inform our reception before 10:00 am on the departure date or earlier. (Extension of guest stay without reservation is subject to availability).
- Guest are not allowed to give their room to be used by third party even if the room has been duly paid.
- Ray Hotel keeps the right to require a guarantee of 50 Kuwaiti Dinar (Fifty Kuwaiti Dinar) for incidental charges at check-in.
- Guest wishing to check out later than 12:00 are kindly requested to request reception before 12:00 (Late Check-out is subject to availability, otherwise it will be charged according to check out policy).
- Child Below 5 years of age without extra bed sharing room with parents can use Free Meal plan with no additional charges. Child above 5 to 12 years sharing with parents with or without extra bed will be subject to additional charge for meals.
- Smoking is strictly not allowed in the hotel rooms, restaurant, Gym, Lobby and corridors, violator is subject to a fine of 100 Kuwaiti Dinar (One Hundred Kuwaiti Dinar).
- Hanging of any items in guest room balcony or room windows that might ruin the beauty of our hotel appearance is prohibited.
- Any damage should be reported to our reception immediately after it become apparent.
- Guest and other individuals using the hotel services and facilities are asked to make sure their conduct should not disturb other guest. The hotel may refuse its services to individual who violates this rule.
- Guests are expected to lock their rooms and balcony door properly to prevent access of third parties. The Hotel Management will not in any way whatsoever be responsible for any loss, damage or theft.
- Guest will be subject to fine for any Un-washable stains, rips, tears on linen/towels and damage in the room.
- It’s prohibited to invite other guest into the room or to use hotel facilities, for security reasons, additional guest must register at reception before entering the room.
- If the visitor does not have an ID, they are more than welcome to meet our guests in any of the public areas of the Hotel.
- Using photographs and video’s taken in the hotel for commercial or public purposes is illegal. Those who do so will be subject to prosecution.
- Ray Hotel may refuse to accept the guests who grossly violated the Hotel Rules and Regulations during the last stay by damaging the hotel’s or guests property or by inflicting damage on other guests, hotel employees or other persons staying in the hotel or in other way violated the stay of other guests or the functioning of the hotel.
- In all Guest rooms DO NOT DISTURB sign has been provided. Hotel rule is that this sign cannot be displayed longer than 24 hours. After this time, Hotel reserves the right to enter the room due to Safety and Security reasons.
- Ray Hotel offers complimentary parking during guest’s stay and Hotel takes no responsibility for any damage or loss of your vehicle on the parking.
- Guest is not allowed to take out from the hotel the room inventory (pillows, blankets, towels).
- Ray Hotel provided complimentary Baby Crib on guest’s request (subject to availability) and Extra Bed at the cost of 10 Kuwaiti Dinar (Ten Kuwaiti Dinar).
- Ray Hotel does not allow the guest to bring their own linen and bedding into their rooms.
- Ray Hotel does not allow pets in the premises.
- For reasons of firesafety, it is forbidden to use heaters, and other similar devices that are not part of the hotel room equipment. This does not apply to chargers and power adapters for audio-video devices and computers.
- Guest left belonging in the room or hotel premises will be stored for three months before disposing it.
